On May 11, 1927, the Duryea High School Seniors went to Mt. Vernon, VA on their class trip. The chaperones were Thomas Graboski , an industrial arts teacher, and an unidentified female teacher. Years later, the trips to Mt. Vernon were discontinued and the senior classes took their annual day trip to The Glenwood Hotel in the Pocono Mountains near Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. This link has photos of those seniors that went on the outing to Virginia. |
